How visa sponsorship works in Germany

No employer licence is needed — the role itself has to qualify
Germany keeps no register of licensed sponsors because it does not need one: any employer can hire a skilled foreign worker if the job clears the route’s bar. For the EU Blue Card (Germany), that bar is an annual gross salary of about EUR 48,300 (EUR 43,760 for shortage occupations and graduates within 3 years of qualifying). A posting clearly paying below it is excluded, for the same reason a posting that says “no sponsorship” is.
Your degree must also be recognised in Germany, which is checked separately from the job offer.
